Nikole and I were able to join the teens in Cascade for the last day of the Back to school camping trip. This was Sammie's very first camping experience, or should I say, Mom's first camping experience with a baby. He did pretty well overall until 4:30 am this morning, when an unconsolable crying session began. We decided not to make everyone else in the campground have to suffer with us so we got in the car and drove around. We ended up and the boat launch where Mom, Dad, and Sam slept sitting up in the car until 7:30. This is about the time Sam wole up with his eye crusted shut! (Its not pink eye. The goop was green meaning its a sinus cold, incase you were wondering.) It was time for Sam to eat so we booked it back to the campground for a bottle, after which I packed our stuff up. Nikole, Sam the Dogs and I decided to take off early since we had a tired Mom and cranky baby with goopy eye.
