Sam has gotten too big for his carrier seat, (I think he inherited Daddy's shoulders) so he is now in a big boy seat. I think he likes it but it is not as easy on the parents that's for sure. If he falls asleep we have to take him out and wake him up rather than just pick the whole seat up. Since he isn't one yet he still needs to be facing backwards, which I don't like because the seat back is so tall I can't see him in the car anymore. another thing that is annoying is that you basically have to sit in the seat next to him to buckle him in because the back seat of the car isn't huge. I guess it had to happen sooner or later, maybe we just need a bigger car. At least Sam likes it!
It was a tradition at my Dad's house to get a new pair of Jammie's on Christmas eve to wear and I wanted to continue that with Sam, however at this time he has grown out of every pair he owns. I went to the store to buy more but I couldn't find any for 12 months, (which is what he is in even though he is eight months old.) I found a pair of cute Christmas ones at Walmart finally, that cannot wait until Christmas eve because he needs something to wear to bed. I think I am going to head to a second hand kids store to see if I can find any there. I really not sure why this is so hard. You do have to admit he looks really cute in them!

Oh...the switching of the seats- reminds me our boys are getting big!! Will is so ready to switch and it will definitely be before a year. I live at Once Upon A Child- you should see if they have one where you live- they have GREAT gently used, name brand kids stuff. With SO many kids, that is a staple place for us. Good luck! Oh, and I love the jammies he has on...

We have the same tradition! I remember the whole new car seat thing and yep, its a pain! We have Once Upon a Child here too and with Jackson I lived there and probably will with Baby girl too!
I have found "Other Monthers" the second hand kids store here... awesome clothes here I come! Thanks for the tips!
