Jeff is gone this week on the missions trip to Mexico. He reports that everything is going well. The first day of construction went well and he said that he’s never been so hot in his life. The picture is a little blurry but he was taking them with his phone and said it was so bright out that he couldn’t see the screen.
I am finally on a break from school. We get the month of August off and then the pace picks up. I will be student teaching at Washington Elementary in Caldwell which will be a brand new school and is reportedly the second “greenest” building in Idaho. I am both excited and nervous for what lies ahead.
Sam has been doing very well at daycare and has become VERY interested in other kids. I took him swimming yesterday and he stood in the pool and said hi to the kids running by for ten minuets before he focused on the water. …(As I am writing this Sam just climbed on the couch and told me he has poo poo! Small victories.) He still only has 4 teeth and the bottom two have grown in quite crooked. I feel bad when he’s eating crackers because you can see him trying to chew them with his front teeth. I may be placing a call to the dentist soon just to make sure everything is okay with his teeth.
Nikole is working full time at a fly fishing shop and getting very excited for school to start.
We will be heading to Colorado at the end of the month to see my Dad and Joann, should be a good time.
That’s what’s going on around the Miller house.
