Jeff was gone part of this week for the
teen's mission trip. He left Wednesday instead of Monday since he had to finish up selling fireworks and he was trying to leave me with the two kids for as short of time as possible. I always hate when he leaves but this was my first time alone with two kids. It didn't go too bad just the usual sleepless nights and Sam needing more attention than I could give him. The worst part was that right before Jeff left the AC broke. Today it got up to 90 degrees in the house! It has been pretty miserable especially for Elijah who has to be swaddled to sleep. I tried to put him down in his bed
unswaddled but he instantly woke up. We are glad Jeff is on his way home as we speak, misery loves company! (Oh and Sam and I really miss him. )
I am still searching for a teaching job. I have applied at five districts and for six random teaching jobs. I am starting to get depressed about the whole situation and although I am not necessarily being rejected its not been great on the moral. Here's hoping I find something soon!
Here are a couple of pictures from the week.

I know it looks like he is in pain, but he's smiling.

Here is how Sam fell asleep at about 10:30 this morning.

This is a late 4th of July picture. Sam loved the fireworks, and spent the whole show yelling boom back at them.

Playing outside to escape the hot house.
