Jeff got a long term sub position/ permanent job...kind of. A teacher at the school where he is student teaching has had to take an immediate leave, so Jeff was asked to step in for the rest of the year. Since there is an open spot now, they love Jeff, and they have gone to the trouble to give him a new room (not the old teacher's room), and the whole school has been congratulating him we are hoping/thinking this may work it self into a real job! Fingers crossed!
We had Sam's birthday finale today at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was a blast! The only people Sam requested at his birthday was the Meyers, so we waited until they got back from Disneyland and had a birthday extravaganza! After Chuck E. Cheese's we went to The Croods. It was a pretty awesome day!
Being the birthday boy, Sam got to go in the ticket booth. We tried to coach him about how to get tons of tickets. Stuff them in your shirt, stuff like that. He got into the booth and stood as still as a statue while we all waved and screamed at him to grab the tickets. I think he though the point was to withstand the high winds and come out alive. Nicely done son.
