Summer Time

Summer is staring to wind down for us which is good. Since we are involved in youth ministry summer is a very busy and stressful time for our family. The camps and mission trips are over. we still have the youth back-to-school camping trip, a river trip, and a possible Jr. High get together. We also had a lot of visitors to Idaho this summer :Jeff's Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister in Law, and Jenn's Mom and Siblings. Its been a crazy summer!

Nikole is working hard at Wingers and getting ready for her senior year of high school. She is very excited to begin looking at colleges and filling out scholarship forms. Currently she is saving to get a car, she can't wait. Today she said she didn't care if the doors were made of cardboard, so when you're on the road look out for a renegade with cardboard car doors.

Sammie is learning new things every day. He has begun giggling, (he thinks mom is really funny), rolling over constantly, and today stayed sitting upon his own for the first time. He is getting bigger everyday and its exciting to see him getting bigger and gaining his own personality.

I'm still trying to balance family and work, not sure I'm doing too well. Its the work that's suffering though, not the family. I've also been trying my hand at photography which I really enjoy doing I just wish I knew more. Jeff and I took Nikole's senior pictures and I think they turned out pretty well. It helped that we had a beautiful model.

Here's to fall! (I know its still July)
