This is some of us on a scavenger hunt to find out what the final destination of the party was. We were supposed to be singing Christmas carols but we just opened our mouths for the picture to make it look like we were singing. What a bunch of cheaters.
Here we are on the train, all bundled up because it was freezing.
So, today we were supposed to leave for Seattle, where we would spend the night and then catch our flight to Hawaii. Unfortunately this was the same time a massive storm is hitting the west coast which in turn closed the Seattle airport, which canceled our flights. So long story short, we are leaving on Tuesday morning when we will switch planes four times, and are separated for four and a half hours when we will finally reach KONA! It's a small price to pay to spend time in paradise, but I am not looking forward to the journey. I did overhear others at the airport who would be stranded until after Christmas, so we are pretty lucky to be able to still go. I am very thankful that we didn't end up stranded in Seattle.
This is the view from our front window...we have had more snow, but it was VERY windy as well. What a perfect day to go to Hawaii...too bad it didn't happen.
And....I need to put away some of my fall decorations :).
This is a picture of Sam on his new scooter from Nani, and Papa. He doesn't look like he likes it much but I assure you he is in love with it. The problem is that his feet don't reach the ground yet so I push him around and we chase the dogs on it. He loves it!
